HOW MAYA BLACK EXPRESS WORKS
Maya Black Express is offered to select customers who apply for Maya Black on the app, allowing them to get a credit card even if they’re just getting started – or starting over – on their credit card journey.
All you need to accept the offer is to provide an Express Deposit.

- A limited credit history
- A past record of late payments
- Credit card dues or loans higher than your income level

Can I cancel my application after I'm offered a Maya Black Express?
If you decide not to create an Express Deposit, your credit card application will remain open. At this stage, no Express Deposit account will be made yet.
Should you decide to complete your application, you can continue by following these steps on the Maya app:
- Go to the Savings dashboard
- Scroll to the bottom and select Express Deposit
- Select a fund source for your deposit
- Confirm the deposit
Aside from an Express Deposit, do I have to do anything else to complete my Maya Black Express application?
Setting up your Express Deposit is the last step of the application process. Once finished, you will instantly be approved for Maya Black Express.

Yes! Your Express Deposit earns 3.5% interest p.a., credited monthly. This ensures that your money continues to work hard for you while you use Maya Black Express and build your credit score.
If I go through with my Express Deposit, am I guaranteed to be approved for a Maya Black Express?
Yes! After finishing your application and setting up your Express Deposit, you will instantly be approved for a Maya Black Express.
If I get a Maya Black Express, how much will my credit limit be?
Your credit limit is 80% of your Express Deposit. For example, if your Express Deposit is ₱12,500, your credit limit will be at ₱10,000.
