Your Credit Limit, which can be used for regular purchases, represents the maximum outstanding balance that You and Your Supplementary are allowed to share subject to the credit card management requirements which may be reasonably imposed by Us from time to time (“Credit Limit”). Except in case of temporary increase in Credit Limit given on certain occasions (i.e. promotional offers, etc), in no event shall You and Your Supplementary exceed the Credit Limit. We reserve the right, at our sole and absolute discretion, to allow or decline any further transactions or to suspend and/or terminate Your credit card privileges, without prior notice in case the payment transaction shall exceed the Credit Limit. In any such events, You agree to pay in full the Total Amount Due (“TAD”), which shall immediately become due and payable, without the necessity of notice and demand, all of which are waived by You. The Credit Limit shall be made available to You on the next banking day following payment.
6.2 We may, at our sole discretion, modify Your Credit Limit based on our internal credit assessment, policies, and procedures, as the same may be amended from time to time. You shall be duly notified of such changes to the Credit Limit through Your eSOA. You have the right to decline increase in Your Credit Limit or request for adjustment subject to Our approval by contacting us through the Customer Touchpoints at www.mayabank.ph/contact-us/.

7.1. ANNUAL CREDIT CARD FEES
You shall pay to us a credit card fee, payable annually in an amount fixed by us as may be amended from time to time with 90-day prior written notice to you. In case of suspension or cancellation of the Card, all fees paid herein are non-refundable.
7.2 MINIMUM AMOUNT DUE (“MAD”)
The MAD is the minimum required payment from You which shall be reflected in Your eSOA. It is based on the Total Amount Due (“TAD”) computed as follows:
- If the TAD is less than or equal to Php500.00, MAD is equal to the TAD.
- If the TAD is more than Php500.00, compute for 3% of the difference of the TAD and the sum of new retail purchase, new cash advance transactions and adjustments posted during the eSOA month. If the computed amount:
- Is less than Php 500.00, MAD is Php500.00 plus 100% of past due amount, if any.
- Is more than Php 500.00, the MAD is equal to the computed amount plus 100% of past due amount, if any.
You must pay at least the MAD on or before Payment Due Date. Failure to pay at least the MAD shall result in imposition of finance charges, additional interest, and penalty fees.
7.3. FINANCE CHARGES
Finance Charges on regular purchases, monthly installment amortizations, fees, and interest charges, exclusive of those incurred during the current cycle, shall arise if You pay any amount less than, or does not pay on Payment Due Date, the Total Amount Due (TAD). The finance charges on the unpaid balance shall be computed from the day after the Statement Date found in Your eSOA until the outstanding balance and applicable interest are fully paid.
Finance charges for cash advance transactions and cash advance fees, if any, shall arise from transaction posting date until payment date.
Finance charge is based on the aggregated total of the daily interest for the statement period. The daily interest is computed by multiplying the daily unpaid balance for each day with the daily interest rate (monthly interest divided by 30).
With notice to You, finance charge rates may be changed by Maya Bank from time to time.
7.4 PAYMENT OF CHARGES
You agree to pay the Total Amount Due (“TAD”) or at least the Minimum Amount Due (“MAD”) as stated in the eSOA on or before the last day for payment indicated in the said eSOA (the “Payment Due Date”). If the Payment Due Date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a regular national holiday, the Payment Due Date shall be moved to the next business day. The Payment Due Date may be changed to either:
(i) an earlier date if Your account is considered overdue and/or with balances in excess of the Credit Limit or
(ii) to such other date as may be deemed proper by us with notice to the You on the eSOA.
Paying less than the TAD will increase the amount of interest You pay and the time it takes to repay the balance. Further, failure to pay at least the MAD or the TAD on or before the Payment Due Date indicated in the monthly eSOA shall result in imposition of finance charges, additional interest, and late payment fee based on the amount due for every month of delay, a fraction of a month being considered as one (1) month. If the MAD is unpaid after thirty (30) calendar days from Statement Date, your card will be automatically locked without need of prior notice or demand to You which you hereby expressly waive. You can unlock your card after successful repayment of the MAD. Your Card shall be automatically suspended if unpaid after ninety (90) calendar days from Statement Date, without prejudice to our right to cancel or terminate the Card any time and for whatever reason.
If the MAD is not fully paid on the Payment Due Date, in addition to all other remedies available to Maya Bank under the T&C, and applicable laws and regulations, you hereby authorize Maya Bank at its option, to auto-deduct the MAD from your associated accounts with Maya Bank and Maya Philippines, Inc., (collectively, Maya) such as your Maya Wallet. In the event that the balance in your Maya Wallet is insufficient to cover the MAD, we have the option to deduct from other Maya Accounts such as your Maya Savings. vvIn the case of the MAD, if continuously remains unpaid, you hereby authorize Maya Bank to auto-deduct the full amount of the TAD, if remaining unpaid for 90 days from Payment Due Date, from your Maya Wallet in Maya Philippines, and other Maya Accounts under Maya Philippines.
If You are a director, officer, or employee, vendor, or service provider of Maya Philippines or Maya Bank, or any of its Affiliates, You hereby authorize the automatic deduction from your fees, salaries, wages, or receivables from Maya Philippines or Maya Bank, any unpaid MAD or TAD on or after due date and no payment was received from You. We reserve the right to auto-deduct either from your Maya Wallet, Maya Bank accounts or from your payroll, or other receivables, whichever may be sufficient to cover the MAD and/or TAD of Your card with written notice to You.
In all instances, we shall notify you of such deductions from any of your Maya Account through the Maya app, email, or SMS, pay slip, or statement of accounts.
If your Maya Wallet, or other associated account, fund is insufficient, please immediately pay the remaining balance of your TAD through the Maya app or at any Maya Center. Otherwise, the TAD shall continue to incur late penalty fees and Maya Bank may exercise its right to suspend or terminate your account. Maya Bank will continue to deduct the past due amount and the late penalty fee from your Maya Wallet or any other Maya accounts daily or upon cash-in to wallet or Your salary, fees or any receivables from Maya until the TAD is fully paid.
Payment through Maya wallet or any mode authorized by Us, including any of Our accredited payment centers, shall be considered as payment to us made on the same date. You have the right to demand reversal of fees or charges imposed if considered late despite payment made on due date. Any overpayment You may have made shall not earn interest and shall be applied to payment of the succeeding TAD or MAD. In case of terminated or cancelled Card, we shall credit to your Maya Wallet, if active, any such overpayment. If your Maya Wallet is inactive, any overpayment that is unclaimed for more than one (1) month from the date of termination or cancellation, we shall charge to Your account a monthly Account Maintenance Fee as stated in the Table of Fees, until the Card balance is zeroed out.

In case of Your default, You agree to perforate Your Card and to pay, in addition to the interest and late charges, the following additional charges, without prejudice, however, to our other rights and remedies under the law and these T&C: (a) attorney’s fees of twenty five percent (25%) of the amount due if the account is referred to a lawyer or to a collection agency; (b) liquidated damages equivalent to twenty five percent (25%) of the unpaid amount, plus litigation expenses and judicial costs, if any, and (c) such any other costs that we incurred for collection of Your obligation.
